To foster a love for nature in tomorrow’s generation so they will protect it as adults

GreenQuest Nature Club is an organization that was founded in 2021 by Eagle Scout Aadhithyaram Balaji. With a mission to foster a love for nature in tomorrow’s generation so they will protect it as adults, GreenQuest aims to keep future leaders interested and passionate about nature by introducing them to the wonders of our planet. This is in the hope that they will help protect and conserve the environment when they are older.

Recognizing that raising awareness about nature and threats to nature is an effective catalyst for change, GreenQuest Nature Club has collaborated with the Wayne Public Library and Laurelwood Arboretum to bring lessons about nature and ecology to students from 2nd to 6th grade. Lessons include an informative and interactive presentation, a take-home craft to supplement the lesson, and a tour around the Laurelwood Arboretum (weather permitting).
